Scholarship and Research Integrity (SARI) Program

Graduate students in Horticulture must complete the following to meet university requirements for training in scholarship and research integrity (SARI).
  • Please complete the CITI course by logging on at the CITI website with your PSU WebAccess credentials. Most students should choose the Biomedical Research sequence, however if your research is more social-science oriented you may choose the Social Science modules. There are eight required modules and a list of electives in each set. You must complete all of the required modules and at least one elective module. Upon successful completion, you will receive a certificate. Please give a copy of the certificate to Stacy Smith, Graduate Programs Coordinator for your file.
  • Complete a four-hour discussion workshop offered each January for graduate students in Horticulture, Agronomy, and Food Science. This is typically held the Friday before classes start.
  • The final hour of discussion will occur in Agro 501. Participation in that discussion will complete your required training.
