New Publication: Enhanced resistance in Theobroma cacao against oomycete and fungal pathogens by secretion of phosphatidylinositol-3-phosphate-binding proteins

Posted: July 31, 2015

Congratulations to Emily Helliwell and all the authors. This is a major publication resulting from our NSF funded (in cooperation with the Gates Foundation) BREAD project to test a new idea for disease resistance in cacao and to explore how plant pathogens evade the host defense response.
