Our lab is caught in the middle of a funding freeze by Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy (ARPA-E) within the Department of Energy (DOE). Graduate student Molly Hanlon's experience is featured.

Our lab was awarded a $7 million dollar grant from Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy (ARPA-E) in January. Now, the Department of Energy (DOE) has stopped processing the paperwork on tens of millions of dollars in research that its ARPA-E has agreed to fund.
