The Department of Plant Science offers undergraduate degree programs in turfgrass science, agroecology, landscape contracting, and horticulture.

Better known as the "2-Year Program," this Professional Certificate Program is designed to provide students with in-class and hands-on learning opportunities.

A Landscape Contracting degree prepares students to construct and maintain landscapes from residential homes to large commercial and industrial projects.

Designed for students seeking careers in agronomic and horticultural crop production systems, sustainable agriculture and ecosystem science, crop protection, applied plant physiology, plant science research, and plant biotechnology.

The Turfgrass Science degree program provides courses in basic and applied sciences, business management, and an internship to prepare students for careers in turfgrass management and related areas.
