Fresh Cut Grass is a weekly podcast in which hosts Jeff Fowler and Tanner Delvalle, Commercial Horticulture Educators with Penn State University, discuss various turfgrass topics with industry professionals from around the US. Topics include all aspects of sports turf management, lawn care, parks, golf, and any other professional turf. Professionals from different segments of the turf industry will be featured as guests, and casual conversation about turf management and turf improvement will occur.

Meet the Hosts

Jeff FowlerJeff Fowler

Jeff Fowler has spent his career in Extension helping people and organizations make wise use of their resources. Jeff's focus is in the Green Industry, primarily in turf and athletic field management. He is active on the Board of Directors of the Pennsylvania Chapter of Sports Turf Managers (KAFMO) and has served on the Board of Directors for the National Sportsturf Managers Association. Jeff is based in Venango County, PA.

Tanner DelvalleTanner Delvalle

Tanner Delvalle is a horticulture educator based in Berks and Schuylkill counties in Pennsylvania. He holds a bachelor's and master's degree in Turfgrass Science and Agronomy from Penn State University.

Tanner provides educational support to various horticulture industries throughout Pennsylvania. His primary focus areas include turfgrass management, landscaping, right-of-way and industrial weed control.
