The Plant Science Department at Penn State University has available an M.S.-level assistantship for individuals interested in raspberry and strawberry crop production in protected culture (high tunnels and low tunnels) beginning Fall Semester 2016. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn about and conduct research related to micro-environmental measurement and instrumentation, plant growth and pest pressure related to light quality, and crop production techniques. This work is part of a multi-state Specialty Crop Research Initiative project.
