He earned his M.S. from Washington State University, Pullman, WA, where his research focused on understanding the effects of plant growth regulators on traffic tolerance and recovery of cool-season sports turfgrass. In summer 2024, he completed an internship at Palouse Ridge Golf Club, WSU, Pullman, WA, where he gained hands-on experience in the day-to-day management of a golf course. This experience marked the beginning of his journey in turfgrass, and he has since committed himself to advancing the industry.
He begins his Ph.D. studies in Fall 2026. His research focuses on precision turfgrass management to improve the sustainability of golf and sports turf systems while enhancing athlete safety. In the long term, he is committed to advancing the turfgrass industry through environmentally responsible management practices and the development of safer playing surfaces for athletes.
