The Penn State Horticulture Club as we know it has had a long and interesting history. It was not always called the Horticulture Club, but actually began as the Crab Apple Club. In the Fall of 1909, the Crab Apple Club formed and the rest is history....

Through its history the club held an annual hort show, with only a few missed during WWII.
Looking through the past years hort show programs one can see previous club advisors and the people that the show has been dedicated to in the past. From when it took place under a tent at the trial gardens to when it was in the ice pavilion and now in its current home in the Ag Arena.

The club has evolved from its predecessor of the "Crab Apple Club" to the Horticulture Club has made and will continue to make even more history.
