Summary

Root anatomical traits are captured using laser ablation tomography (LAT) in 3D and analyzed via machine learning algorithms in RootScan3D. Anatomical traits will be discovered from plants grown at multiple field locations under individual (nitrogen, water) and combined stresses. Sample composition will be evaluated by using spectral information in combination with LAT.
