Maureen Kahiu recently joined the Turfgrass Management lab where she will complete her M.S. degree on dollar spot resistance to DMI fungicides.

Maureen Kahiu is a Masters student from Nairobi, Kenya. Her main interest is in turfgrass pathology.

She acquired her undergraduate degree at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, Juja-Kenya. She has previously worked in the golf course industry as an intern, assistant and eventually a golf course superintendent at Vet Lab Sports' Club. Additionally, she is an R&A level two certified golf rules official.
