This is a listing of our other project collaborators and sources of more information on hertitage, alternative and ancient grains.

Cornell Small Grains Cultivar Testing

This Cornell site is where all of the variety testing data from the Value Added Small Grains project is located. It also contains annual reports of other small grain variety tests conducted in New York.

Organic Research and Information Network

OGRIN is an organization that provides information for organic growers in the northeast, including information on organic grains, with production tips and sources of seed.

North Dakota State Univ. Carrington Research Center Variety Testing

The NDSU Carrington Research Station conducts annual evaluations of small grains, including spelt, emmer and einkorn.

Greenmarket Regional Grains Project

Greenmarket is a New York City organization formed to promote regional agriculture by providing small family farms the opportunity to sell their locally grown products directly to consumers, and to ensure that all New Yorkers have access to the freshest, most nutritious locally grown food the region has to offer. This site shares some of their recent work with grain crop market development.

Small Valley Milling is a Pennsylvania based operation that served in an advisory capacity on this Value Added Grain Crop Project.
