Course Description:

The primary purpose of this course is to teach the student the basics of accounting and financial management as well as other important business management information. Since accounting represents the language of business, much of the focus of the course will be concentrated in developing an understanding of the important techniques associated with both financial as well as managerial accounting practices.

Course content will include a variety of diverse business related topics such as: understanding the accounting processes, developing and interpreting financial statements, understanding business terminology, forecasting and budgeting, and staffing considerations.
