Course Description
This course will emphasize economically on important cool and warm season turfgrass arthropod pests. A brief introduction to insects and their relatives as well as metamorphosis will be included.
Emphasis on bionomics, use of symptomatology, biorational and conventional management strategies, I.P.M. and solving real-life case histories. Students will be required to utilize various web sites as part of their educational experiences including class/lab and reading assignments that utilize select web sites.
