Title: Undergraduate Research Assistant
Summer 2025 (40 hr/wk)
Interested in learning more about sustainable and/or organic vegetable production systems, nutrient management, and indoor crop production?
The Penn State Vegetable Crop Science Lab is looking for summer undergraduate research assistants to help with data collection and processing in field, greenhouse, and laboratory experiments throughout the growing season (June-August) with the possibility of extending into the Fall semester. Students will be fully integrated in the team
- Gain hands-on experience on a variety of vegetable crops grown with organic and conventional methods, including soilless systems
- Assist with sample and data collection
- Sample processing in lab for downstream analysis
- Gain good understanding of research and extension activities
