I am a field technician and lab manager for the Weed Ecology lab. I began working with the lab in 2006, and have been involved in a wide array of research projects; ranging from invasive species to organic field crop production. I have helped with projects looking at weed seed bank degradation, the spread of Japanese stiltgrass in forest ecosystems, glyphosate resistant horseweed, and the role of native plant communities along field crop edges. My main focus during the 2008 field season has been a research project looking at different crop rotations to control weed populations within organic agricultural systems.
